Sachindra Nath Sanyal upsc

• Sachindra Nath Sanyal was an Indian rebel who died on February 7, 1942. He was born on April 3, 1890, and died on February 7, 1942. He was a co-founder of the Hindustan Republican Army (HRA, which became the Hindustan Socialist Republican Association in 1928), which was formed to fight the British Empire in India with arms.

• He taught people like Chandra Shekhar Azad, Jatindra Nath Das, and Bhagat Singh how to start a revolution.

Revolutionary career

In 1913, Sachindra Nath Sanyal set up a branch of the Anushilan Samiti in Patna.

• In 1912, Sanyal and Rashbehari Bose attacked Viceroy Hardinge as he was entering the new capital of Delhi after the Bengal Partition was cancelled. Lady Hardinge also died in the attack. Hardinge was hurt.He worked a lot on the plans for the Ghadar plot. When it was discovered in February 1915, he went into hiding. He was good friends with Rash Behari Bose. After Bose ran away to Japan, Sanyal was seen as the most important leader of India’s nationalist movement.

• Sanyal was given a life sentence for his part in the Kakori plot. He was sent to Cellular Jail in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, where he wrote his book, Bandi Jeevan (A Life of Captivity, 1922).

• He was let out of jail for a short time, but when he kept doing things that were against the British, he was sent back and his family home in Benaras was taken away.

• When the Non-cooperation movement ended in 1922, Sanyal, Ram Prasad Bismil, and a few other radicals who wanted an independent India and were willing to use force to get it started the Hindustan Republican Association in October 1924. He wrote the HRA manifesto called “The Revolutionary,” which was given out in North India’s big towns on January 1, 1925.

• Between 1920 and 1924, a well-known debate between Sanyal and Mahatma Gandhi was written in the magazine Young India. Sanyal argued against Gandhi’s method of taking things slowly.
