There are 933 candidates who have passed the test. There are 345 people in the general category, 99 people from economically disadvantaged groups, 263 people from other backward classes, 154 people from scheduled castes, and 72 people from scheduled tribes.
Each year, candidates for the Indian Administrative Service, Indian Foreign Service, Indian Police Service, and other positions take the civil services examination.
