Puran Prakash, son of Barmer Congress District President Goparam Meghwal, has cracked UPSC. That too in the fifth attempt. In four attempts, he could not even clear the pre-examination in the Civil Services Examination.
According to the information, Congress leader Goparam Meghwal has been an MLA from Siwana assembly constituency of Barmer. There is an atmosphere of happiness in Meghwal’s family ever since the final result of UPSC Civil Services Examination 2023 was declared on Tuesday.
Puran Prakash has secured 885th rank at the all India level in UPSC Civil Services Examination 2023. The family wanted their son to study and become an engineer, but he wanted to become a civil servant.
In a conversation with the media, Puran Prakash told that he did his early education from Pachpadra in Barmer. After doing B.Tech from Jodhpur, he started preparing for UPSC. For the last five years, he was preparing for UPSC while staying in Delhi. Failed four times in the preliminary examination. Now finally the selection has been done.
It is noteworthy that the result of UPSC Civil Services Examination 2023 has been released, in which a total of 1,016 candidates have been successful. Aditya Srivastava of Lucknow has secured All India Rank 1. Animesh Pradhan of Rourkela, Odisha has got second rank and Ananya Reddy of Telangana has got third rank.
