By passing the UPSC civil services examinations-2022, 13 applicants from Haryana, including 7 girls, have made it to the top 100 candidates list. The winners hail from a variety of familial origins.
Kanika Goyal (24) of Kaithal bagged the ninth rank.
The winners come from a variety of families. They include shopkeepers, teachers, business owners, and farmers, as well as serving and former officers and their families.
Aniruddh Yadav, the younger son of Uttar Pradesh-born Haryana IPS officer Manoj Yadav, received the eighth-best All-India Rank (AIR) in the CSE-2022 results. Aniruddh is an IIT-Delhi alumni who is an Indian Information Service Officer with insufficient training. Aditya, his older brother, is an Assam-Meghalaya cadre 2018 IAS officer.
The ninth place went to Kaithal resident Kanika Goyal, 24. Her second effort was this one. She was raised in a typical home and always wanted to be an IAS officer. The only child of Lakhmi Chand and Neelam Goyal is Kanika. They reside in a blended household and her father owns a grocery business in Kaithal. Kanika claimed that on her initial try, she failed the interview. Hindu Girls Senior Secondary School in Kaithal served as her final educational institution, and Shri Ram College for Women in Delhi served as her graduate institution. She also participated in online UPSC tutoring.

The 12th spot was won by Abhinav Siwach of the Gorakhpur village in Fatehabad. He is currently employed as an SDM in Delhi as an officer of the Delhi, Andaman, and Nicobar Island Civil Services (DANICS). His uncle Lalit Siwach is the deputy commissioner in Sonepat, while his father Satbir Siwach is the deputy excise and taxation commissioner (DETC) in Gurugram. This was Abhinav’s second attempt, and he credited his father and professors for helping him succeed.”After finishing my training hours, I used to study for five to six hours each day. In 2018, I graduated with my MBA from the Indian Institute of Management in Kolkata. Prior to being hired as the SDM in Delhi, I had also worked as a naib tehsildar in Haryana.
After completing my MBA, I worked in a multinational company for two hours and had a good package, but later resigned after working for nearly two,” he added.

Jind’s Ankita Puwar placed 28th. Ankita’s family is from the Jind hamlet of Julana, but they moved to Chandigarh, where she finished her education.
Five people from the Rewari district also did well in the UPSC test. Tushar Kumar received AIR 44, while Nitish Morya received AIR 90, Abhiruchi received AIR 317, Yogesh Saini received AIR 323 and Aarti received AIR 592.
Sanjay Bhatia’s daughter Narayani Bhatia, a former Haryana IPS officer, earned the 45th spot. She was on study leave and is an IPS officer from the Haryana cadre.
The 72nd place went to Muskan Dagar of the Jhajjar village of Sehlanga. She was 474th last year, thus she has moved up in the rankings. She is receiving training in Faridabad through the Indian Civil Accounts Service (ICAS). Vikas Dagar, her father, is a farmer. In 2020, she completed her B.Sc. from the Hindu College of Delhi University.

Sunil Phogat of Charkhi Dadri earned the 77th spot in a similar manner. Sunil, a BTech graduate, passed the exam on his fourth try. Sunil’s mother is a homemaker, and his father is a retired soldier. While residing in Delhi, Sunil studied independently and prepared for the exam.
Sonepat resident Nidhi Kaushik earned the 88th position. Her mother is a housewife while her father, Mukesh Kaushik, is a businessman. Nidhi’s ranking has increased from 286 to 88 from last year. She entered the audit department last year and was sent to Chandigarh. This was her fourth attempt.

In her third attempt, Muskan Khurana of Panipat earned the 98th spot, while Divyanshi Singla of Kaithal’s Sargodha colony earned the 95th spot. Businessman Vivek Khurana is the father of Muskan, who attended the Vidya Devi Jindal School in Hisar and graduated from the Indraprastha College in Delhi. She is pursuing a PhD in international relations as well.
Ankit of Jind received a test score of 99. His mother is a housewife and his father is a farmer. In Uttar Pradesh, he is currently employed as the assistant municipal commissioner for Pilibhit.
Manasvi Sharma, a resident of Karnal, placed 101st overall. This was his fifth attempt, and his father, Dr. Radhe Shyam Sharma, retired as vice-chancellor of Chaudhary Devi Lal University in Sirsa. Bhavesh from Tosham in Bhiwani also earned the 280th spot.
Manohar Lal, the chief minister of Haryana, sent his congratulations to everyone who passed the UPSC exam, especially those who are from Haryana. The chief minister expressed his wish in a statement that all applicants who passed the test will serve the country honestly and diligently. He remarked, “I hope that other young people in the state would strive hard to accomplish lofty goals by taking inspiration from these candidates.
