Sri Sai Ashrith Shakamuri UPSC Topper Biography

Sai Ashrith Shakamuri, a BTech (Civil Engineering) graduate from BITS Pilani, was ranked 40th in the coveted UPSC civil services examination. This accomplishment has made his parents, Shakamuri Amar and Padmaja, quite proud. Sai Ashrith’s incredible journey began right here in Hanamkonda, where he was born in the Advocates colony.

If he failed to become a public servant, Sai Ashrith considered joining his father in the family construction firm, gaining inspiration from his father’s footsteps. However, spurred by a strong desire to serve his country, he set his sights on the civil services and proceeded on this difficult journey. Sai Ashrith outperformed all expectations by achieving a rank on his first attempt, contradicting the popular belief that passing the UPSC examination requires numerous attempts.
