Aashna Chaudhary is currently working as a general category civil servant in India. She achieved the 116th position in the UPSC Exam 2022. It took her three tries to finally achieve success on the test.
She attended Delhi Public School in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, from 2014 till 2016, where she majored in humanities and received an overall grade point average of 96.5% on her class 12 examinations.
Aashna’s decision to take a sabbatical from her studies in order to be ready for her post-graduate examinations came after she had completed the requirements for her undergraduate degree. During this time off, her family encouraged her to give some thought to the possibility of studying for civil service examinations.

She had two previous chances to pass the UPSC exam, but neither of them were successful. This left her feeling disheartened. Nevertheless, she made use of these experiences to determine the aspects of her performance in which she needed to improve. She was finally successful in passing the UPSC examination in 2022, on her third attempt, with a total score of 992 (827 on the written exam and 165 in the personal interview).
Even though she was working towards her master’s degree at the same time, she would slavishly study for 12 to 14 hours every day in order to get ready for her tests. She began by enrolling in a coaching facility in the hopes that it would assist her in preparing for the examination; nevertheless, after a few months of attendance, she made the decision to discontinue her participation in the coaching sessions.
Aashna passed the UPSC examination on her own, despite the fact that she did not receive any outside coaching in the process. She decided to major in Anthropology and take the optional exam in that field.
She is a devout individual who takes part in a wide variety of religious and spiritual activities.
