Plan for the UPSC Interview
The information you give on your application form is very important because it helps the judges learn more about you. Things in it, especially the small details, are likely to be talked about.
Because of this, it’s important to know a lot about them. Prepare everything carefully, from the meaning of your name to the background of the place you live, and have all the facts and figures you need at your fingertips.
Not only is it important to know what’s going on around you, but it’s also important to form your own well-informed views. Get information from different places and make your own decisions about what’s going on in the world.
Keep a balanced view of problems during the interview and don’t take a strong stand. Respond carefully to tough issues like the ban on the hijab in Karnataka’s schools or India’s position on the war between Russia and Ukraine.
During the interview, a candidate needs to find the right mix between thinking and speaking clearly and avoiding narrow-minded views. Don’t argue with the people on the interview group or do anything else that could be unpleasant.
Don’t feel too good about yourself just because you passed the writing test for the civil service. Put your best answer and opinion forward at the interview. If you spend a lot of time getting ready for the UPSC interview, you will have the confidence you need to pass it and get a job in one of the highly sought-after government services.
The above UPSC interview approach and the biography should have given you drive and inspiration. After the practise interviews, experts will give you feedback that will help you fine-tune your preparation. People say that practise makes perfect, after all.
