The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) released the results of the Civil Services Examinations 2022 on Tuesday, and Kasturi Panda, an applicant from Odisha, obtained an All India Rank of 67.

Kasturi Panda commented on the intense competition in the public services in an exclusive interview with OTV. But in her second attempt, she succeeded in passing the coveted exam.

In the Civil Services Examinations 2022, the results of which were released by the UPSC on Tuesday, Kasturi Panda earned an All-Indian Rank of 67.
Along with her, other candidates from Odisha included Tharun Patnaik Madala, who received the 33rd position, Anup Das, who received the 38th position, Pranita Dash, who received the 42nd position, Soumya Ranjan Dash, who received the 136th position, Durga Prasad Adhikary, who received the 162nd position, Gaurav Kumar Tripathi, who received the 226th position, Sushree Suvang.

Anup Das, who received a 38th place finish in the Civil Services Exam 2022, is the top-scoring candidate from Odisha. Pranita Dash and Kasturi Panda, who received 42nd and 67th places, respectively, are next.

Results were announced by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on Tuesday.

After three years of diligent study, Pranita Dash passed the exam on her second try. She is presently pursuing her MPhil in Economics at Cambridge University. She added, “Revision, practise, and mock tests before the exam helped me,” noting that her uncle Justice Debabrata Dash had motivated her to take the exam.

She also thanked her mom and siblings for their encouragement along the journey and for keeping her going when she was down. “I was attracted to the public service because of its influence on society. I want to join IAS because it will give me the chance to work with the underprivileged and make a difference in their lives, she continued.

Tejaswini, who had passed OCSE 2020 in her first attempt, declared that she would retake the test and raise her ranking. “After receiving my postgraduate degree, I began studying for the competitive exam. I used to spend 8 to 10 hours a day studying, revising, and taking practise exams’, she continued.

Soumya Ranjan Das, an electrical engineer from IIT-Kanpur, quit his corporate job after passing the preliminary exam and plans to retake the test to raise his ranking.

In his fourth attempt, Satya Prakash Mishra, an Odisha government employee, achieved 261st place without going to a coaching facility.
