
The Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2022 results were released today by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). One Muslim candidate has gotten a spot in the top 10 UPSC scorers list.
A large portion—29 individuals—of the 933 total candidates who were selected for the final list are Muslim.
Talented women earned the top three positions in the UPSC CSE 2022. The winner is Ishita Kishore, who is followed by Garima Lohia in second place and Uma Harithi N in third.
The results of the 2022 Civil Services Examination (CSE) have been released by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). There is a Muslim contestant who has risen to a significant position among the top 10 UPSC candidates.
An amazing 29 candidates from the Muslim community were among the 933 applicants that made it to the final list.
UPSC conducted the CSE main exam in September 2022, followed by face-to-face interviews from January to May 2023.
The list is topped by Waseem Ahmad Bhat who secured AIR 77 in UPSC CSE 2022.

In the 2022 UPSC CSE, women have taken the top three spots. The overall winner is Ishita Kishore, followed by Garima Lohia in second place and Uma Harithi N in third.
Muslims in UPSC – Previous Years Record
Muslim applicants have performed differently on the UPSC Civil Services Examination over the last ten years. Only 21 Muslims out of the 1,823 applicants who were invited for in-person interviews last year made the UPSC Civil Services 2021 Merit List, which was the worst showing in ten years.

The preliminary exam is the first step on the road to being a successful UPSC CSE candidate. The preliminary exam, which will be held on June 5, 2022, will serve as a screening examination to let candidates move on to the next phases of the hiring process. On June 22, the results of the preliminary exam were made public, allowing those who qualified to continue.
The second stage of the UPSC CSE is represented by the main examination, which was held from September 16 to September 25. This phase includes a thorough written test that gauges candidates’ knowledge and comprehension of a range of topics.
The results were released on December 6 after the main examination papers had been evaluated. Candidates qualified for the interview phase at the end of the process if they passed the main exam.
The Union Public Service Commission has finally made the much awaited final results of the Civil Services Examination 2022 public today following the interview procedure, which came to an end on May 18.
933 contenders in all made it to the final list this year. As usual, the majority of UPSC top scorers are most likely to choose IAS. The list is accessible on the UPSC’s official website.
