Union Public Service Commission UPSC has declared the results of Civil Services Exam on Tuesday. Rupal Srivastava of CM City Gorakhpur has secured 113th rank in this examination. There is an atmosphere of happiness in the entire district on his success. There is an influx of congratulators at Rupal’s house. Rupal had a special conversation with One India Hindi and discussed in detail how she reached her destination.



It was a dream to become an IAS since childhood.


Rupal tells that the father is an administrative officer and is currently posted as CDO. Seeing them, I had a desire to become an administrative officer since childhood, but when I was in graduation, I made up my mind to clear the UPSC.

Elementary Education from Gorakhpur


Rupal’s mother Amrita Srivastava says that she was brilliant since childhood. His interest in studies was so much that apart from that he did not understand anything else. He did his high school and intermediate from Little Flower Dharampur. Got 96.68 percent in 10th and 97.5 percent in Inter. After this received Gold Medal in B.Tech from NIT, Jamshedpur.

Was doing job in Pune


Rupal says that after doing B.Tech, she got an offer from a multinational company in Pune. After that he started working there. But even during work, his mind was engaged in preparing for UPSC and after some time he left the job worth lakhs from there.

Rupal tells that after leaving the job, she chose the path of Mukherjee Nagar, Delhi and enrolled in Vajirao Coaching Center here for UPSC preparation. After this the preparation to become an IAS started.

success in third attempt


Rupal started preparing with the dream of becoming an IAS. Day and night only one goal was in mind. Started studying for 8 to 10 hours. Gave the exam for the first time but was disappointed. Then motivated myself and started preparing for the second attempt. Failed this time too. This time the pre was cleared but the mains exam could not be cleared. Rupal did not lose courage. The parents also encouraged them. Then did Rupal start her UPSC preparation again. Appeared in the exam again for the third time. Gave the exam but this time success was under his feet, not failure. The result came and Rupal secured 113th rank in UPSC.



Learn from failure what are the shortcomings


Rupal tells that after failing in this exam, do not get disheartened but try to know your shortcomings. Correct it and try again.
Success comes from hard work and continuous effort
Rupal Srivastava tells that by setting the goal of life, anyone who makes continuous efforts with hard work will definitely get success. Continuity of effort is very important in life.

Parents consider their ideal


Rupal gives the credit of this success to her teachers and parents. She considers her parents as the ideal of her life.

Parents said this on the selection of daughter


There is a wave of happiness in the whole family on this success of Rupal. There is no limit to the happiness of the parents. Father Abhay Sristav said that he is very happy on the victory of the daughter. This should motivate more daughters to work seriously on their goals. Daughters are not less than anyone. Mother Amrita Srivastava said that the daughter has become an IS today. I am very happy It seems as if there has been sudden happiness in the house. Proud of daughter.

Rupal Srivastava has brought laurels to the city by securing 113th rank in the Civil Services Examination. His father Dr. Abhay Kumar Srivastava is working as CDO in Jalaun and mother is Associate Professor in DAVPG College. Rupal is the only child of the parents. He has achieved this success in the third attempt.

A bright child, Roopal had scored 96.68 per cent in class 10th and 97.5 per cent in class 12th from Little Flower School, Dharampur. After this received Gold Medal in B.Tech from NIT, Jamshedpur. Rupal did IAS preparation from Delhi. He made his first attempt in the year 2020, which did not get success, but Roopal did not give up. In the second attempt, she cleared the preliminary exam but could not clear the mains. Rupal has secured 113th rank in the third attempt.

In a conversation with Amar Ujala, Rupal told that she used to study for eight to 10 hours daily. He has given the credit of his success to his parents. Roopal told that he is fond of painting and reading books. Giving mantra of success to the students who are preparing, Roopal said that do not be afraid of failure. Study continuously with patience. Mark the mistakes made during the study and rectify them. Will surely succeed.
