Honourable Prime Minister,
You have entrusted illiterate people with the Union Public Service Commission.
This is the UPSC 2026 notification. Even in the most basic Prelims notification, there are more than 40 spelling mistakes. If the recruiting agency cannot write a simple notification correctly, how are candidates expected to believe that this body is capable of recruiting IAS and IPS officers?
How are we supposed to trust that they have a fair and competent mains answer evaluation process?
How can we believe that the people checking answer sheets even understand what they are reading?
When matters reach the Supreme Court, UPSC conveniently says:
“Transparency will compromise confidentiality. The process is secret. We cannot share papers.”
The real reason seems obvious — they cannot explain it, because many of them do not even know how to read properly.
The recruiting agency that cannot spell the word “examination” correctly in its own notification — how will it conduct an examination?
If anyone doubts this, I am providing page-wise screenshots of the UPSC notification showing incorrect spellings along with the correct ones.
They cannot spell:
Candidates
Benchmark
Kolkata
Chhattisgarh
Meghalaya
Maithili
Forget everything else — they don’t even know the correct spellings of Indian states, cities, and languages.
And these are the people entrusted with conducting the most prestigious examination in the country.
This is exactly why the condition of our bureaucracy looks the way it does today.
How will you catch cases like Puja Khedkar when the system itself does not know what it is doing?
Anyone who wants proof can take screenshots — I am showing each mistake page number–wise.
There were so many “minor” errors that I stopped counting.
We even stopped checking grammar — it was pointless.
UPSC should immediately retract this notification.
How are candidates supposed to trust you?
You are the premium recruitment agency of India.
There is no examination bigger than the Civil Services Examination in this country.
If even this exam is handled with such carelessness, where does your credibility stand?
And please don’t say these are “small mistakes.”
It took me just 15 minutes to correct them.
That tells us everything about your zero professionalism.
As for your online application forms — it has been five years, and UPSC still doesn’t know how to design a functional form.
Your so-called helpline numbers never work, any day of the year.
Why can’t you set up a small call center?
Is spending a few lakhs per month really impossible?
Forty lakh candidates appear for this exam.
Even four competent people could handle basic support.
The truth is simple: you do not want to work.
The greatest responsibility for pushing the country’s future into a mess lies squarely with UPSC.
