(Part 2) Anecdotes, Facts, Examples for GS, Ethics and Essay

A man was sleeping under a tree.
Beside him was a hole in the ground.

While the man slept, a cobra came out of the hole and lightly touched him—
it did not bite him, it only brushed against him.

The man woke up with a jerk.
By then, the cobra had already gone back inside, and a mouse came out instead.

Seeing the mouse, the man became furious.
“You worthless creature! You disturbed my sleep!”
He shouted, and the mouse went back inside.

The man went back to sleep.

Now the mouse thought,
“I didn’t even touch him, I didn’t bite him, yet I was abused for no reason.
Now I will surely bite him.”

So the mouse came out and bit the man, then hid again.

The man woke up with a jolt, shouted, and turned around.
At that moment, the cobra came out.

The man saw the cobra—and instantly fainted and fell to the ground.

Now the question arises:
Who made him faint?
The mouse or the snake?

The snake did nothing to him.
The mouse bit him, yet he did not faint then—he only woke up and shouted.

He fainted only after seeing the snake.

So neither the snake harmed him, nor the mouse.
His own mind defeated him .
